Christmas is around the corner! 🎅🏼🎄❄️
So many of you have asked us if we’re doing our Reverse Advent Calendar this year! Well, the answer is yes!
Like every year, we want to present our very special Advent Calendar. Each day of the calendar, you can put aside an item of food and a small donation that you can bring to Bournemouth Foodbank as a donation.
In previous years people have enjoyed this very much. It’s a great activity to do with your family; kids love it as they learn about generosity and giving to people facing hardships. With the unprecedented fuel, energy and food prices we are currently experiencing, this is a great way to ensure the people in our community don’t go hungry or at least don’t have to choose between being warm or having a decent meal.
The situation is dire, but that doesn’t mean everything is lost. We know many of you will come to the rescue with your generous donations.
Please use the Advent Calendar, and hopefully, you’ll have fun doing so.
Instructions
- Set aside each item every day. (Note that you can start whenever you want)
- Collect the monetary donation separately.
- At the end of the calendar, call the Bournemouth Foodbank to arrange the delivery to our warehouse before the 15th of December
