Lent & Easter 2025

Ways to help this Lent and Easter.

Supporting Your Community This Easter and Lent

Easter is a time of reflection, renewal, and hope. It is also an opportunity to come together as a community to support those facing hardship. At Bournemouth Foodbank, we believe in the power of collective generosity and action. This Lent and Easter season, we invite churches, schools, businesses, and individuals to join us in making a difference.

What is Lent and Easter?

Lent is a 40-day period of reflection and preparation leading up to Easter, observed by many Christian traditions. It is often marked by acts of sacrifice, prayer, and giving. Easter, the celebration of Christ’s resurrection, is a time of joy and renewal. These values of generosity and compassion align perfectly with the mission of Bournemouth Foodbank—to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
