COVID-19 Update

4th April 2020

The Coronavirus outbreak has paralyzed the world, with a worldwide reach unprecedented in our lifetimes.
The Bournemouth Foodbank’s commitment to see the need of the most vulnerable in our community covered remains unchanged.

Food banks have been given essential status, and our intention is to keep the Bournemouth Foodbank open for as long as possible. Our amazing team of staff and volunteers keep working tirelessly to make sure that the most vulnerable in Bournemouth and families struggling financially can get the food they need during this time of crisis.

The food banks are essential for so many people in our town, but we have the uncertainty of what will happen in the case of a lockdown. Nonetheless, our intention is to remain operative as long as necessary, changing and adapting as the crisis unfolds.
