Income & Money Volunteers

Bournemouth Foodbank is recruiting volunteers!

We are introducing two new volunteer roles in collaboration with Citizen’s Advice and Community Money Advice.

At Bournemouth Foodbank we have seen the benefit of recent Household Support Fund payments. So we see how important it is that everyone is able to access the financial support they are entitled to. Maximising this support alleviates food insecurity and helps people deal with the current Cost of Living Crisis. We want to ensure people have more control and choice in their lives. Ultimately, we want to see an end to hunger and the need for foodbanks.

It’s simple, people need enough money to put food on the table.

Income Maximisation Guiders;

In both roles you will be supported every step of the way by highly trained and experienced staff/professionals. No experience needed as full training will be provided. All we need from you is compassion and enthusiasm!

We will be holding two information sessions on Thursday 2nd May, one at 9am and one at 1pm.
